Trip description

Short Hike to a beach located inside a federally protected natural reserve.

These trails are among my favorites due to the richness of wildlife and the beauty of its final destination.

This experience is great for connecting with nature and spending time outdoors, get away from all tourist establishments and walk deep into the woods.

We'll meet at la crucecita's main park where we'll take a 15 min cab (included) to the entrance of the trail.

We’ll hike down a 2km tropical trail and visit a unique heart shaped bay with emerald green clear water.

We will have some time at the beach to take in the beautiful scenery and appreciate the wild life which inhabits it.

We'll eat some snacks under the shade, go for a swim and explore the amazing surroundings before hiking back.

This trail is easy but it can get slippery during summer months. Make sure to bring reef friendly sunscreen, eco friendly mosquito spray, a water bottle and snacks.

Start 7:30am
End 11:00am
Where we'll go

This bay enters the Huatulco National Park, a federally protected area in the far northwestern part of Huatulco. The use of long sleeves for sun protection is recommended. Reef-friendly sunscreen is mandatory.
